The Mayor of Southampton ( Mr. W.H.Davis ) has issued notice of the formation of fund for the relief of relatives dependent upon those lost in the Douro. He appeals to the public for subscriptions, which may be sent to him personally or to the various banks in the town. He has already received several amounts, and it is hoped that the appeal will be liberally responded to.
